Glareh graduated from the Iran University of Medical Sciences in 2003 before undertaking vocational training in Australia. She became a Fellow of the Australasian Faculty of Rehabilitation Medicine in 2016 before completing further sub-speciality training in pain medicine, becoming a Fellow of the Faculty of Pain Medicine of the Australian and New Zealand College of Anaesthetists in 2020.
Prior to her training in rehabilitation and pain medicine, Glareh gained extensive general medical experience in her time as a both a general practitioner registrar and general medicine registrar. It was in these roles that she developed her interest and skills in medical research and medical education. Glareh’s extensive Pain Fellowship training was completed at the well-regarded Alfred, St Vincent’s and the Austin hospitals. Her Rehabilitation training was undertaken at the Austin, St Vincent’s, and Bendigo hospitals. She also worked at Peninsula Health as a Rehabilitation Physician and supervising interns and senior medical registrars
