After completing a fellowship at the Royal Australian college of Surgeons in 2017 Iswadi completed a post graduate fellowship training in knee surgery at Orthosport Victoria in Melbourne. Iswadi then went on to complete a complex knee fellowship in the United Kingdom focusing on cartilage and meniscal restorative surgery, anterior cruciate ligament reconstruction and osteotomy.
Iswadi also holds public appointments at Eastern Health (Box Hill and Maroondah hospitals) and is an Associate Lecturer at Monash University
School of Medicine. Iswadi is engaged in regular teaching activities of both medical students and junior doctors, as well as orthopaedic trainees.
With multiple published papers on both hip and knee surgery, he continues to undertake research to further orthopaedic science and to improve his practice. Iswadi speaks regularly at appointments both nationally and internationally and is a member of the Australian college of Surgeons, Australian Orthopaedic Association and the Australian Knee Society.
