Dr. Beitner is dually qualified as a general surgeon with an interest in bariatrics.. She is a certified general surgeon by the American Board of Surgery and Fellow of the American Society for Metabolic & Bariatric Surgery and is a Fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons. Dr. Beitner completed general surgery training at New York University followed by high volume fellowships focusing on complex and revisional bariatric surgery, minimally invasive general surgery, and upper gastrointestinal surgery at Mount Sinai Hospital, New York, Royal Brisbane and Women’s Hospital, and St George Hospital, Sydney. She is the founder and director of 360 SURGERY, leading an expert multidisciplinary team dedicated to comprehensive weight management.
Dr. Beitner holds public appointments at Grampians Health and Bass Coast Health.
