Dr Rohan Marks graduated from Melbourne University in 1987. He has been practising Gastroenterologist and hepatologist for over 20 years. He has vast experience in the above noted areas of expertise.
Dr Marks’ major interests revolve around advanced endoscopic techniques and he regularly attends national and international conferences in order to keep up to date with the latest techniques.
With the advent of the Pillcam and single balloon enteroscopy Dr Marks is now able to more fully investigate iron deficiency as required.
Large polyps, previously requiring surgery, are now often able to be removed with new lifting techniques and advances in equipment.
Usually he has 4 endoscopy sessions a week, 3 consulting sessions a week, and, he admits to both The Avenue Hospital and Cabrini Malvern Hospital.
All attempts are made to charge patients, who have private health insurance, via the no gap arrangement for Dr Marks, the anaesthetist, pathology, and the hospital.
