Dr. Edward Upjohn is a Fellow of the Australasian College of Dermatologists and trained at The Royal Children’s and Royal Melbourne Hospitals, Peter MacCallum Cancer Centre, and also at the prestigious St. John’s Institute of Dermatology in London.  After finishing his training in dermatology he then traveled to Dallas, Texas where he completed a year-long fellowship in dermatologic reconstructive and Mohs surgery at the University of Texas – Southwestern Medical Center. This fellowship program has dual accreditation from both the American College of Mohs Surgeons and the Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education – the preeminent bodies for accrediting Mohs surgery and medical training programs within the United States respectively.

Dr. Upjohn has interest in managing skin cancer and brings the latest ideas and techniques to this challenging problem.  He has published numerous articles on dermatology and dermatologic surgery in peer-reviewed journals and has also authored a number of book chapters. He is a regular speaker at conferences both in Australia and overseas. In addition to his private practice, he has appointments at The Skin and Cancer Foundation of Victoria and The Royal Melbourne Hospital.
