Roland Barrowman is an Australian trained Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon. Roland completed his Bachelor of Dental Surgery at the University of Otago in New Zealand, before relocating to Australia to complete his Medical degree at the University of Melbourne. He was selected in the Victorian Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery specialist training program in Melbourne, and has worked in hospitals across Victoria.

Dr. Lisa Crighton obtained both her medical and dental degrees from the University of Adelaide, and after completing training in Oral Maxillofacial Surgery in Melbourne received her FRACDS OMS in 2003. Following this, she undertook additional fellowship training in the sub-specialty of Orthognathic surgery at the Victoria General Hospital in Halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada in 2004. Then in 2005 she was the Stryker Leibinger Surgical Fellow in facial trauma at the Southern General Hospital in Glasgow, Scotland, and has published in the British Journal of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery.

Dr Mehrnoosh Dastaran MBChB BDS MPhil DOHNS(RCS Eng) FRACDS(OMS)

Dr Mehrnoosh (Nu) Dastaran is a Victorian-trained Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon, who graduated in Medicine in 2005 from the University of Bristol and Dentistry in 2010 from King’s College London, as the high achieving candidate in both degrees.

Mr Adrian De Angelis

Adrian qualified in Dentistry with Honours in 2005 from the University of Melbourne before commencing his training in Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery in Melbourne in 2010. During this time Adrian obtained a further Postgraduate Diploma in Maxillofacial Surgery (2010) and Medical Degree (2012) from the University of Melbourne before gaining his qualification and Fellowship in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery from the Royal Australasian College of Dental Surgeons in 2018. Between 2018-2020 Adrian undertook additional advanced training in Head & Neck Cancer Surgery at St Georges Hospital in London and the Royal Derby Hospital sponsored through the Royal College of Surgeons in Edinburgh as well as completing a Masters's thesis in Oncology with the University of Melbourne.

Dr Sam Huang MBBS BDSc FRACDS(OMS)

Mr. Sam Huang is an Australian-trained Specialist Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon. After graduating from dentistry at the University of Melbourne in 2005, he worked in the Adelaide Maxillofacial Unit as a senior house officer before obtaining his medical degree at the University of Adelaide in 2011.

The Avenue Private Hospital would like to introduce Edward Nguyen who is an Australian and New Zealand trained and registered Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon. He enjoys practicing the full scope of oral and maxillofacial surgery including removal of wisdom teeth, surgical extractions and dental implantology. His subspecialty interests include management of head and neck tumours, maxillofacial trauma, and corrective jaw surgery.
