Mr Christopher Moss

Mr Chris Moss graduated with honours from the University of Melbourne  in 1987. After successfully completing 10 years of training in surgery he was awarded his surgical qualifications (FRACS) in Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery.

Dr Moss held Senior Tutor positions in the Faculty of Medicine at the University of Melbourne and at Stanford University of California, USA. He received a Diploma in Human Anatomy in 1990 and later conducted twelve months of anatomical research into the safe surgical correction of facial ageing.

Following his plastic surgery training, Dr Moss completed a Travelling Fellowship in the USA to gain experience in the latest cosmetic surgery techniques. He was based at the Manhattan Eye, Ear and Throat Hospital in New York and also received further training in Los Angeles and Miami, gaining special expertise in cosmetic plastic surgery of the nose, face and breasts.

Upon returning to Melbourne, Dr Moss completed a further Cosmetic Plastic Surgery Fellowship. Dr Moss has worked full time in plastic surgery since 1994 and in 1996 authored significant scientific work on the anatomy of the face.

To stay up to date with world’s best practice in cosmetic plastic surgery, Dr Moss regularly attends operating sessions around the world with plastic surgeons who are regarded as the international leaders in the field. He also joins with his peers and colleagues in regularly attending national and international conferences.

Dr Moss is a Fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons and an active member of many Plastic Surgery associations including the Australian Society of Plastic Surgeons, the Australasian Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgery, the American Society of Plastic Surgeons, the American Society for Aesthetic Plastic Surgery, and the International Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgery.

Dr Moss has an interest in cosmetic plastic surgery of the face, nose and breasts.
